Colombia is situated in South America, and it’s bordered by Panama, Ecuador, Brazil, Peru and Venezuela. It’s a beautiful country with amazing beaches and a rich history. Unfortunately, due to its long four-decade-long civil war and the problems internationally with being the major distributor of cocaine, it’s advisable to take precaution when you visit the county. If you plan to go be cautious as Colombia is the kidnapping capital of the world and they even beat countries like Iraq.
