Chile is located in South America and it’s a long narrow country that is over 4000km long and an average width of just over 180km. The country’s landscape is mountainous and the Andes have cut the country off from Argentina and Bolivia along its borders. Chile has one of Latin America’s strongest economies, as it’s the leading exporter of copper and other minerals. The country is known for its great beaches and the famous San Marcos Cathedral. The country is also famous in winter has having some of the best skiing and snowboarding on the continent. It’s a beautiful country that is definitely worth a visit if you are coming to South America.
