Chicago Transit Authority
The Chicago Transit Authority operates a 24-hour train service between O'Hare Airport and Downtown. It is the cheapest way of getting into town, and often the fastest. However, there is quite a long walk to get to the station, especially if you have heavy luggage. The CTA station is located on the lowest level of the main parking garage at Terminals 1, 2 and 3 (accessible from Terminal 5 on the ATS system). Metra North Central commuter trains serves destinations in Lake and northern Cook counties, with five daily inbound and outbound trains between Antioch and Chicago Union Station. Continental Airport Express shuttle buses are located on the ground level of Terminal 5 car park. There is a regular shuttle to Chicago from O’Hare and an hourly shuttle to Midway Airport.
