Located in the Low Tatras National Park in the Northern part of the country is the resort of Chopok Jasna. It’s one of the most popular and largest winter-sport and tourist resorts in Slovakia.
This resort is open year round, as in spring and summer tourists enjoy hiking, fishing, water sports and cycling. In winter they come for the great skiing and snowboarding. In the area you will find the Valley of Demanovska Dolina, which has two famous caves. These two caves are the Cave of Freedom and the Ice Cave, which visitors can enjoy. Park Snow has over 12km of ski slopes and it attracts many visitors for its night skiing. Also, besides the resorts excellent slopes is has slalom, downhill and cross-country skiing, so it has something for everyone.
