Hungary is situated in Central Europe, sharing borders with the Slovak Republic, Ukraine, Romania, Croatia, Serbia, Austria and Slovenia. The capital city of Budapest is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. It’s made up of two parts in Buda and Pest. Buda is the older area and it has cobbled streets and medieval buildings. Pest is the main commercial area of the city. The only thing separating the city is the river Danube. Outside of Budapest you will find beautiful lake and forest regions that are popular retreats for the locals.

This would have to be one of my favorite Central European countries as it’s such a beautiful country and has so much to offer. In Budapest you have a city rich in history and in the country you can find some of the most under-rated vineyards in Europe. I guarantee if you go to Hungary you will have a brilliant time.
