In major cities such as Paris, Lyon or Marseille, there are lively nightclubs that sometimes charge no entry fee and are open all night. The best thing is to get a local guide, which can tell you what is on at that moment in time.
Rex Club
5 Boulevard Poissonnière, 2nd
If you like clubs that the dress code is involves trainers, T-shirts, and jeans, then you have come to the right place. This is the main club for techno and electronic music in Paris and with the twenty something crowd you should have an excellent night. This club always draws a crowd, just as it's been doing since the mid-1980s. Thanks to a host of top DJs like Laurent Garnier and Carl Cox. It has an amazing sound system and you can be prepared to hear amazing house and techno music. Check out Friday night's ‘Automatik’, which always busy.
Batofar
11, quai Francois Mauriac
This funky club is set on a barge moored on the Seine. It mainly plays trance, house and techno tunes and they have a tendency to keep getting world-famous DJs in on a regular basis. The dance floor gets pretty busy on weekends and be prepared to stand in a queue, but once you are in it is worth it.
Crazy Horse
The Crazy Horse is known for its stage shows performed by nude female dancers. It draws a very mixed crowd, so be prepared. It’s not a place I would go to, but it seems to be a very popular place.
Le Papagayo
Résidence du Port,

This club is famous for its famous celebrities and wild parties that go till late. The club has theme nights, which make this club very popular, especially during summer.
