This is the biggest state and most sparsely populated in Australia stretches over 2600km. Perth, which is the states capital and is known as the most isolated city in the world is in our opinion the best city in the country. You will find a diverse culture that has amazing beaches and people who are more laid back here then the rest of the country.

In the rest of the state you will find picturesque scenery in the south to go along with some amazing vineyards, to in the north where you feel you have been driving for days just to come to a roadhouse just to fill up and drive again. In the North you will find some great gorges in Karijini and Kalbarri National Park, as well as Broome in the far north where you will find Cable Beach, which is arguably the best beach in Australia. If you come to Australia DO NOT miss out on Western Australia, as it is definitely one of the most spectacular states in the country.
