Zimbabwe is located in Southern area of Africa and it’s bordered by Zambia, Mozambique, South Africa and Botswana. The biggest tourist attraction in the country is Victoria Falls, but since Robert Mugabe and his government took power in the 1980s, Zimbabwe economy has fallen apart. It used to be the strongest in Africa, with great roads and a high standard of living, but only 25 percent of the population have jobs and it has the highest inflation rate to any other country in the world. If you do go to Zimbabwe it’s advisable to be careful as theft happens quite frequent to western tourists, as they are thought to have lots of money. If you want to go see Victoria Falls it’s advisable to go via Botswana till the political situation changes in the country.
